You know you’re done when you start to fee unsteady and legs shake. 145lb is my body weight +5lb! This is my new PR btw..
Bench Press:
Wobbly arms means, “you’re done.” 75lb is PR..
Barbell Rows:
Need to work on better posture and technique…

Irvine Lake Mud Run today… here’s before and after pictures.. and then my finisher medal. :)
I am so LOVING my VFFs. They are amazing. Sad i didn’t spot anyone else wearing barefoot shoes.. I hope this’ll change.
Nonetheless.. Amazingly fun mud run.. My body is all scratched up from tripping, slipping, skidding, and diving countless times. But for the laughs, it was worth it. :)

MY SHOULDERS.. omg… my own mind is blown everytime i see it and compare it to now..
and sorry i hadn’t been posting for most of the week.. i actually had the flu from Last friday.. and i got rid of most of it by this past wednesday-thursday. So that whole time, i wasn’t really doing much… Plus it’s my monthly Extended Rest Week. so I was just busy resting.. how funny that i got sick of all weeks..
The only thing i really did was join a gym and sort of get acquainted with all the “Toys” there… all the Dumbbells.. barbells.. Squat Rack.. Dip station… and their cool lockers.
Think I found a great place to come to for my lift days.. mon-wed-fri. :D
My shoulders and back muscles are really achy from trying to be friends with the Squat Rack (this relationship needs a little work).. and trying to do my first deadlifts using the preset barbells.. (I used an 80lb).. i think i did pretty good. didn’t want to go all out since i’m still recovering from flu. Getting the form down.. and SURPRISED how much doing deadlifts really ACTIVATES your core and abs.. as well as your shoulders and butt.. OOmmmf.. it was pretty awesome from the 5 reps i did.
and that squat rack.. I shall make it my friend! starting this monday….
